@sap-cloud-sdk/connectivity - connecting to On prem LDAP destinations from K8s cluster with connectivity proxy in CAP Nodejs apps running in K8s?

Describe the Question

We have a K8's cluster inside which we have our application is running and utilise BTP services within cluster with SAP BTP operator setup

There are a couple of on-prem destination which we consume in our application with HTTP, LDAP protocols.

We were successfully able to connect to HTTP on prem destination with just connectivity proxy setup.

We are now interested to know if @sap-cloud-sdk/connectivity supports connecting to LDAP destinations with just connectivity Proxy.

Highly appreciated if any documentation/ samples can be provided on this

The Cloud SDK v4 only includes a client for HTTP endpoints. That said you should still be able to use the destination service for discovering your LDAP service. I am not sure how the connectivity proxy will interact with your client in this scenario, but please try using the destination service return value to connect to your LDAP service with a client of your choice.
