WIP... maybe. I had expected lots of test failures to fix because I couldn't find any tests which would address the function I removed, but so far no tests have failed. On the face of it that looks like a good thing, but I have a deep nagging suspicion that I am missing something. |

@dkillick Most tests are passing, except for one timeout which I have restarted. Still feel like I've missed things on this PR though. |
