@ServeurpersoCom, i suggest adding an option to export to FLAC by calling an external binary (CLI). This approach ensures the project's license remains "clean" and avoids the "viral" effect of the GPL.Key points:GPL Compliance: By interacting with the flac tool as a separate process (at "arm's length" via shell/system calls), we don't have to open our source code.Simplified Distribution: We don't need to bundle libFLAC or binaries. Users can download the latest version directly from xiph.org.Implementation: We only need to provide a field in the settings to specify the path to the flac executable and pass the necessary CLI arguments.This is a standard practice for proprietary software to stay compliant while using powerful GPL-licensed tools. What do you think?

I've made an MP3 encoder; I can easily create my own FLAC implementation if no MIT library exists :) For now, I'm busy with the automatic merging of GGML operations to avoid diverging from GGML upstream

Initially, I didn't want an external binary in the backend to serve the integrated WebUI, in order to respect the cross-platform design of llama.cpp: this avoids many edge cases and "platform hell".

However, nothing prevents piping in FFMPEG using the WEB API, C++, or CLI binaries from a script, developing, or forking a web interface.
