Feature Request: Favourite Tracks in UI

So, I often end up with lots of tracks (as anyone else, I know) and it would be really useful if we could "mark" our favourite tracks, maybe with a star or just a flag with the word "lock".
This would be useful (at least for me) for two main reasons.

1 - We can Identify easily the tracks that we liked and we want to keep
2 - I was thinking about the delete tracks function. Maybe having a "delete all" button where, after press, a warning message appear, that basically says that we're about to delete all the tracks but not the ones marked as favourites.

Ah yes, it's clever to use a favorites star/heart to do a quick cleanup (Delete all but not favorites). Because otherwise, we end up overwhelmed by huge lists...

I have a few ref songs that i use cyclically as timbre ref-audio and was thinking of adding to the UI the option to select from a dropdown list a .vae file located in a /refs directory to free the songs list from the ref-songs. before i start digging into TS and Svelte ( last time i did web apps we did still use php ), is that feasible ?

You're talking about a feature that will allow you to "move" music files within a dropdown menu, to avoid clutter.
And that this "sub-collection" would always serve as a reference audio source or timbre.
Plus, you can simply remove the audio to keep only the VAE format, which is the most lossless and lightweight for all kinds of remixes.
Furthermore, it's reversible; a simple pass through the encoder allows you to recover the waveform as MP3, WAV, etc.

i was thinking more something like having the webapp read a directory content and , if it finds any .vae files it enables the related dropdown menu ( like the lora menu works).
is this feasible just through the Svelte app ( mainly the filesystem iteraction part) or would it need mods on ace-server ?
I know that mine is a peculiar use case and that it doesnt justify changes on the main repo...

No, it is not possible to access the filesystem from JavaScript in general (which includes everything that can be executed in the browser), and I do not want to implement a backend for this; in fact, it's like llama.cpp, it allows sharing one backend for several people without having to code all the security associated with it, as the data is hosted in each browsers.
