Drawer.open causes browser to jump to top of page

I have a nav item that animates into view once a user scrolls down the page with an option to view the cart included. I included the js-drawer-open-right class to one of the nav options in order to trigger the Cart drawer to open, which works, but the browser also jumps to the very top of the page. Is there any way to get around this?

This behavior also can be seen when adding products to the cart in a collections page, the cart drawer is opened and the browser jumps all the way to the top of the page. Kind of an annoying side effect of using the drawers.
