Description
We have a registration set up that has a "zero cost" registration, but a required fee is included to select one of two pricing options. We also have a wait list enabled. We had a person added to the wait list that we were able to move over to the registrant list, sent the notification to finalize their registration. When they reached the registration page to complete their information, there were no additional registrant fields to complete (by design) and the fee options were not displayed.
Actual Behavior
The registrant is shown the final "review registration" page prior to selecting any fee options (as expected).
The person received the notification email with the link to complete their registration. The registration has a $0.00 cost, but should have a required fee field to select a cost tier for the event. The registrant was directed to a page with the final registraiton instructions and a "finish" button:
The fee options were never shown to the registrant, resulting in no opportunity to pay the minimum required cost for the event.
Expected Behavior
After the person clicks the link in the notification email to complete their registration, I would expect the required fee option to be shown to the registrant before they see the fianl "Review Registration" page regardless of whether any additional registrant forms or registration forms are required.
Steps to Reproduce
- Set up a new registration template with a $0.00 cost, a required fee (configured as shown below), a wait list enabled, and all registrant fields required prior to entering the wait list.
- Set up a new registration instance with a maximum capacity of 1
- Add a registrant to the instance
- Register yourself for the waitlist (or a test user that has a valid email account to which you have access)
- Move yourself (or the test user) from the wait list to the registrant list (and send the notification email)
- Open the notification email and follow the link to complete your registration
- Click "Finish" to complete your registration
- You will not have been asked to select your fee option
I wasn't sure I could replicate this on the demo site since the wait list notification email is a required step. I'll be happy to test on a fresh install if there is a way to navigate that step?
