Whitepaper Index

GödelOS has generated, over the course of its development, a considerable quantity of documentation — whitepapers, specification documents, architecture analyses, and design plans — some of which is excellent, some of which is the kind of breathless futurism that one learns to read with a sceptical eye, and all of which is available for inspection. The index below is organised by authority: canonical documents first, historical versions archived with appropriate honesty about their status, and supporting materials catalogued without editorialising.

One notes, with some firmness, that a whitepaper claiming "genuine machine consciousness" is obligated to specify, with precision, what evidence it is citing and what it means by the term. The canonical v1.0 whitepaper (Issue #86) will meet this obligation. Previous versions varied in their rigour on this point.
