cant figure out custom generator

ive tried to get a custom generator for create veridium but i just cant figure out why its not working it is in data/mod/generator_types directory so i dont know what i am doing wrong and yes mod is in capital letters

MOD and TYPE must both be replaced with lowercase identifiers, and the default datapack structure must be present. Datapacks can be used as zip and when sharing this is usually used as you cant share folders alone

MOD can be something like mycustomgenerators, and TYPE can be veridium.

the contents of that file should be put inside the data/ folder, and in the root you should have a pack.mcmeta file like this:

You should not put these files in your data folder, you should create a folder in the datapacks folder and put the files there. The data/ folder is only used internally by minecraft
