Problem running MPE with the run.sh script

Every time I run my MPE program (peasy test in the documentation), it seems like the windows freeze and nothing happens. Then I have to kill the processes one by one. It seems like it can't connect to the leader process. I'm just trying to run it on the localhost for now with 1 head and 1 process. Here is the error it's throwing me and I am on Centos 6 with version 2.2.1 processing and Java JDK and JRE 7.79:
