[BUG] Polish letter "ż" seems to be diffrent size than the rest of the text

Description

When I loaded the polish translation file (as a test of the translations), we noticed that the small letter "ż" is bigger than the rest of the text. This is probably that the font doesnt have this polish sign and takes it from a default font that has this sign larger.

Steps to reproduce

Load this file as translation input: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pacnutek/BotC_translation_PL/main/botc-app-game-content-pl_all.json
in a script with a Fortune Teller (TB is enough) is a translated to "Wróżka" where you can see the "ż" being larger than the "ó" or "a".

[image: image.png] I have marked 3 letters in this immage that are taller and "fatter" as normal. Normally the letters are as high as the rest of small letters and only the "dot" goes over the small letter line. They also should not be fat. Here is a sample of how I would expect it: [image: image.png] The last one seems to have the "fat letter" issue also. As I wrote it is probably that the Dumbledore font doesn't support polish signs. Also you probably meant the Ż in the character name but there you use CAPITALICS so it is not visible. I mean it was seen in the Script in the right panel where the names are written normal. Should have been more precise in my description. wt., 31 mar 2026 o 14:23 Valis ***@***.***> napisał(a):

Alright, thanks for that. Yeah, this is unfortunately caused by the font we're using here. I don't think there's an easy fix, short of switching to a localized font that includes all the necessary characters required for your translations. But this would require quite a bit of work and also involvement from our graphical artists, so not something that is easy to fix, sadly.
