Thanks so much for doing this! I'll try building it soon. Just so you know if I accept the PR I'll convert your Python script to cmake to avoid adding new build dependencies |

Added a simple example to build a gain slider plugin with imgui.
I haven't fully explored the repo and I may have misunderstood some things, feel free to correct things if you have a better way.
It contains a python script to build the plugin from the command line with msvc.
