What changes are you trying to make? (e.g. Adding or removing code, refactoring existing code, adding reports)

I completed Assignment 1 by performing data inspection, allele frequency and MAF calculation, Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium testing, and genetic association analysis using linear regression models in R, generated plots and compared additive and recessive models.

What did you learn from the changes you have made?

I learned how to work with PLINK, extract genotype data, and interpret genetic association results.

Was there another approach you were thinking about making? If so, what approach(es) were you thinking of?

I initially considered using logistic regression as shown in the tutorial

Were there any challenges? If so, what issue(s) did you face? How did you overcome it?
