Steps to reproduce:
- Install Unity6
- Install with Package Manager SteamVR PlugIn 2.8.0 (sdk 2.0.10) · January 17, 2024
- Main Menu -> Window -> SteamVR Input -> Generate Input
- Open Sample Scene from: Assets/SteamVR/InteractionSystem/Samples/ -> Scene "Interactions_Example"
Everything looks right in VR but the image on the monitor is stretched and appears with wrong aspect ratio. It seems a vertically larger image is rendered and squeezed vertically. Tested it in Universal Render Pipeline and in Build in Render Pipeline.
I made a short video to showcase the issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ORiF8pSpEM
Not sure how to fix it, I seems there is no way to change anything in Unitys settings for the camera, the resolution of the screen or otherwise. Would be great to get this fixed asap.
