"mid transaction" interrupts suck

next time you feel like ruining your day, import a large group, but in the middle of that process /camp, and you will have a random subset of the aura pack installed. likely, a large fraction of them are "strewn" across the Options left pane as a result of the group they're supposed to belong to not existing in saved data.

this can also happen thru no fault of the user if a disconnect happens in this critical time.

we should probably do something about that.

we could in theory stuff the unimported group into savedvariables and resume the process on next login? if the messed up variables are saved then surely the remaining to-import data is saved as well.

or perhaps we make all the data changes then in one big burst write to savedvariables. then, changes to SV only happen when it would be complete.

importing the group again could perhaps repair the damage, though that's a fragile and frustratingly "manual" solution. i'd prefer we do something automatically.
