Get your billion pounds somehow and spend it on lottery tickets, 10,000,000 to be exact. Once you do, you will win a lot more than a billion pounds. In fact, you will easily 25x your investment with decent luck. The reason is because the odds of winning the lottery are 1 in 100,000, and you bought 10,000,000 tickets. 10000000/100000=100, so you will win 100 times on average. Since the jackpot is at minimum £250 million, it will take 4 wins [with the lowest possible jackpots] to make a return on investment, and once you do, the rest is full-on profit.

Start a new random life. Age up to 6 [don't start at 6 since you'll miss your chance to gain smarts].

You first need a few million. That can be accomplished by simply wating around for dead parents. Once you do that, take out a mortgage for a mansion. Pay off as much of your debt as possible. Age up 3 years and sell your home. Pay off the rest of your debt and you have money.
