I have a question for you, regarding the sorting-based 2D re-organization mentioned in the paper, I would like to ask: after sorting on the encoding side, how can the decoder know the order in order to correctly decode the data?

The order of the primitives does not actually affect the rendering results. You only need to ensure that all attributes from the same primitive remain connected after decoding. The correspondence can be derived from the pixel positions of the primitives.
