I am always frustrated that I cannot type multiple characters, including letters, numbers and periods, using the Apple key keyboard navigation in all of the file picker dialog boxes, both in the Apple II DeskTop app and in the Selector app, unlike the behavior of the Mac and the IIGS.

Match the behavior of the Mac and the IIGS and allow multiple characters to be typed, including letters, numbers and periods, using the Apple key keyboard navigation in all of the file picker dialog boxes, both in the Apple II DeskTop app and in the Selector app.

Just keep on using the Apple key keyboard navigation in all of the file picker dialog boxes, both in the Apple II DeskTop app and in the Selector app, the way it currently is.
