This is a problem when you have files that should be marked "Today" after setting the date for the first time in list views, such as the system files of a brand new build of Apple II DeskTop. This issue only occurs if the date is not changed from the build date of Apple II DeskTop in the Date and Time control panel.

It really helps if you write out clear steps to reproduce the problem. It took me a while to understand the problem here because the steps were not explicit.

1. Configure a system with no real-time system clock.
2. Download a fresh copy of an Apple II DeskTop disk image. It is important that the image has not been used before.
3. Start DeskTop
4. Apple > Control Panels
5. View > by Name
6. Open Date and Time
7. Click OK without changing any settings

Expected: All windows refresh to show "Today" where appropriate

Also, please refrain from repeating the problem multiple times when describing the issue. For example, in your text everything after "Please..." is nearly an exact copy of the first sentence. This increases the burden on the reader, and makes the issue lower quality.
