The Shortcuts module does not support aliases.

Enable the Shortcuts module to work with aliases wherever possible.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Use the Apple II DeskTop module instead.

I of course know that aliases of folders and aliases of volumes will never work in the Shortcuts module because the Shortcuts module does not have and never will have support for windows and, likewise, I of course know that aliases of anything involving a desk accessory will never work in the Shortcuts module because the Shortcuts module does not have and never will have support for overlays.
