name parsing errors on initials

When parsing from the full name "DR", an uncaught error is thrown.

Not sure how this should be handled as far as setting name fields, but it at least shouldn't throw an error.

We shouldn't drop the data, for sure. I think the best approach here would be to place the data into the first name field and carry on.
