Readme is not very descriptive

I think that this tool is exactly what I want. In order to make it more appealing to others that are browsing tools on npm, would you consider writing a few more words and showing examples in the readme, then publishing to npm again so their index shows the improved documentation?

Sure! Are there any specific things you’d like to see mentioned besides examples?

Fwiw this was a pretty ad-hoc project that I used to check the links in the nodejs/node documentation, but thanks for reminding me that it might be useful for other cases, too :)

Maybe a list of features? A summary paragraph at the beginning that advertises the goal and what this accomplishes?
