The path /devices/virtual/block/nandi doesn't exist with current kernels, so we have to point vold at the whole disk and tell it which partition to use. But vold only allows four partitions per disk by default, and we've got nine or ten, so we also have to set BOARD_VOLD_MAX_PARTITIONS to allow more.
