Slash command menu only opens at the beginning of the prompt

Description

The slash command autocomplete only opens when / is typed as the first character in the prompt. After text already exists in the input, typing / later does not open the command menu.

Expected behavior

The slash command menu opens at the cursor so a command can be selected.

Actual behavior

Nothing happens. The slash command menu only opens when / is the first character in the prompt.
