During the last week refactor input on mypy checks was moved to another workflow and mypy checks were not running for a day. This change brings it back.

During the last week refactor input on mypy checks was moved to another workflow and mypy checks were not running for a day. This change brings it back. (cherry picked from commit a2f5307)
