After #42505, you need to get through extra hoops to develop providers in Airflow's monorepo.

This is a simple (not yet uv-specific) documentation on how to install providers in editable mode when you want to develop providers, so that you can run unit test.

Copied mostly from #43082

It's not yet full set of docs explaining how to use workspaces and UV. This shoudl be handled via #43200

Read the Pull Request Guidelines for more information.
In case of fundamental code changes, an Airflow Improvement Proposal (AIP) is needed.
In case of a new dependency, check compliance with the ASF 3rd Party License Policy.
In case of backwards incompatible changes please leave a note in a newsfragment file, named {pr_number}.significant.rst or {issue_number}.significant.rst, in newsfragments.
