Hmm. I wonder why dependabot did not do it automatically (it should) - maybe we should reconfigure it to bump things "always" when they are released and not only when there are security fixes (for build-requirements) - not sure if we can do it selectively ?

Not only here. you mentioned also relying on dependabot for datamodel-code-generator #47172

@gopidesupavan -> wdyt ? I think the change you contributed to dependabot shouls bump such versions automatically (I looked at our configuration and we use default "applies-to" version not "security-check" so it should work I think,

Ah... so we actually had the dependabot PR #50660 but we did not merge it !

And datamodel-code-generator its under dependency-groups, i thoguth dependaboat supports that already, otherwise i could have pushed fix to dependaboat :(, good we have already a PR raised i think that should solve. #47172 (comment)
