Benchmark runs are scheduled for baseline = 987d47a and contender = c0fe679. c0fe679 is a master commit associated with this PR. Results will be available as each benchmark for each run completes. |

Just a few updates and fixes to rough edges according to the notes in ARROW-13400! In particular,
proxy_options$ls()to view a directory listing (I found this useful when testing the S3 proxy server stuff)
