Merged. @jonkeane I'll let you handle how to track this for the R release since I see that the 17.0.0 rc tag has already happened. Sorry I didn't catch this before. |

After merging your PR, Conbench analyzed the 4 benchmarking runs that have been run so far on merge-commit 5c64b6e. There were no benchmark performance regressions. 🎉 The full Conbench report has more details. It also includes information about 1 possible false positive for unstable benchmarks that are known to sometimes produce them. |
