Tracking fs-hdfs issues

We are using https://github.com/datafusion-contrib/fs-hdfs to implement the hdfs_object_store and are actively addressing issues in the package.
This is to keep track of them

• feat: Add a no_jvm_invocation feature for JNI use cases such as Comet
• feat: Add connect_with_config for configurable HDFS connections
• chore: Add GitHub Workflow; fix O_APPEND mode on Linux
• feat: Support additional file systems
• Improve error reporting from fs-hdfs (ref: fix: hdfs read into buffer fully #2031 (review))

@parthchandra I noticed that the PRs on fs-hdfs do not get reviewed by the maintainers. Do you know someone who have write access to that repo so we can merge PRs?

No I do not. Thinking of alternative strategies (like cloning the code in Comet).
