These edits are the extra documentation where I want to warn users not to specify a ResourceScope to newSharedScope(). And to give them a hint what they should be setting it to.
Plus another small change where I want to make the "close()" operation idempotent in one place, the DefaultMemoryRequestServer, rather than spread all over the repo.
