The URL http://lambda-architecture.net/ is now controlled by spammers. I.e. opening it redirects to SPAM or fishing websites, depending on your location. For example, in my case, it redirects to a fake news website.
Hence, it should be removed from the documentation.
This pull-request complements #20321 in the main repo (apache/kafka).
