The Java artifact will only be generated if there is a Java8 JVM available. Looking at the log, it appears that the JVM on the test VM was Java11 so the jar generation was skipped. |
This reverts commit 411be62. jdk_switcher only available in TravisCI Java language environments

Test was broken by removal of binary artifacts from core repository. Since the jar was not actually used anywhere else, it is not built by core's test:buildArtifacts.
