With Time Filter (custom and advanced), tooltip are hidden

Tests done with Superset 5.0.0

This is a known regression in Superset 5.0.0. Tooltips in the Time Filter (custom and advanced) can be hidden or lose formatting due to a new frontend XSS filter that strips inline styles and whitespace from tooltip HTML, affecting tooltips across the UI—including the Time Filter modal. This issue is tracked in #33865 and #34198, and was fixed in PR #34018, which will be included in a release after 5.0.0 (such as 5.0.1 or later) source.

Another possible cause is a modal stacking (z-index) issue, where tooltips or the time range editor can be rendered behind other modals. This was addressed in PR #35292 source.

If you can't upgrade yet, a temporary workaround is to add custom CSS to your dashboard to improve tooltip appearance, for example:

  padding: 5px;
}

If tooltips are still not visible, check for z-index or popup container issues in your environment.

The issue is not present in Superset 6.0 RC, so upgrading to a newer version will resolve it.
