🐛 Bug: Theme select dropdown button causes page to scroll up when clicked

👟 Reproduction steps

Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to https://appwrite.io/docs
   2.Go to the page with the Theme select dropdown.
   3.Click on the Theme select dropdown (open it, then close it, then open it again).
   4.Observe that whenever the dropdown appears, the entire page scrolls up.

👍 Expected behavior

1.The UI should remain consistent.
2.Clicking on the Theme select dropdown button should not cause the page to scroll.
3.The dropdown should open and close without affecting page scroll.

It has been almost a week since this issue—and the other issues you opened—were created. You can go ahead and start working on a PR for this one, as well as the other issues you’ve raised (except for #2605).

Note:

I am not a maintainer of this repository.

I’m suggesting this because there are many issues and PRs pending review, and several contributors are still waiting for permission to start working.

From what I’ve observed, there are some PRs that were merged fairly quickly—possibly from maintainers or frequent contributors.

At the same time, there are PRs with no maintainer interaction, making it unclear what the next steps are. This is one of the reasons I went ahead and implemented #2605 and opened a PR.

I hope this helps and reaches the maintainers of the repository. ❤️
