I'm trying to track down #124, and I suspect it's a race condition within the JavaScript-level NativeRegistryTree. The existing logging isn't helpful here because the process seems to lock before
binding.watchis called. I'm adding a bunch of logging through the JavaScript layer, controlled byWATCHER_LOG_JS.
