Summary

This branch creates additional guidance to help with community contributions. Also makes some arguments more explicit in the docker-compose.yml file.

Changes

The high-level changes made in this PR are:

  1. Update docker-compose.yml to be more explicit with authorisation.
  2. Add CONTRIBUTING.md to instruct contributors on how to add to the repo.
  3. Add CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md to instruct contributors on standards.

Please see the commit history for more detailed changes.

  • The test suite passes via running the below:
python -m pytest tests/
  • The GitHub Actions checks pass.

This is because it's not currently being used but may be used later.
This is so users are aware that they can customise it further.
This is so this can be explicit when deploying to production.
This is so we can set standards.
This is so we can set standards for contributing to the repo.
