This pull request introduces a breaking change by renaming the edge_access property to workloads_access throughout the storage package and related configuration, documentation, and tests. All references to storage access permissions now use the new workloads_access naming convention, both in code and documentation. The version has been bumped to 3.0.0-stage.2 to reflect this breaking change.

Breaking changes and API updates:

  • Renamed the edge_access property to workloads_access in the storage package, affecting configuration files, manifest schemas, and all code references. This change is reflected in both camelCase (workloadsAccess) and snake_case (workloads_access) as appropriate.

Documentation and example updates:

  • Updated all documentation, code samples, and test cases to use workloads_access/workloadsAccess instead of edge_access/edgeAccess for storage access permissions.

Schema and validation changes:

  • Updated schema definitions and validation error messages to use workloads_access and the corresponding enum, replacing all usages of edge_access.
    Versioning and changelog:

  • Bumped the package version to 3.0.0-stage.2 and added a changelog entry describing the breaking change.

Other minor improvements:

  • Cleaned up schema error messages and improved consistency in configuration schema validation.

Note: This is a breaking change. Any existing configuration or code using edge_access/edgeAccess must be updated to use workloads_access/workloadsAccess.
