Manage display: Check defaults for "Rendered entity"

On the Manage display page, there are two options for the Format of a reference: "Reference link" (default) and "Rendered entity". The defaults for the latter are:

• Node: View mode: Full content
• User: View mode: User account (no other options available)
• File: View mode: (empty)
• Taxonomy: View mode: Taxonomy term page (no other options)
• Comment: View mode: Full comment (no other options)

I'd like to discuss some of the defaults:

Node: not sure whether Teaser is better, but Full content should be fine as well.

User: the one available view mode is quite poor, it displays only a sentence like ""Member for 2 days 6 hours", not even the name of the user, which makes no sense in most contexts. I suppose there are simply no other view modes at the moment. Maybe we can revisit the question with the new view mode UI getting in core (backdrop/backdrop-issues#315).

File: As there are no file view modes at all, the format "Rendered entity" shouldn't be available. There is also sort of a bug: When you choose "Rendered entity" and try to configure it, you see that there is no view mode. So you hit "Cancel", but you can't return to the page, instead you get the following message: "An illegal choice has been detected. Please contact the site administrator."

Taxonomy and Comment: okay in my opinion

Related to User rendered entity questions: Move the user page to a separate module

I created issue #31 to deal with the issue of rendering the files (and other entities) who don't have bundles.

The user thing is not ideal, but there isn't much we can do in this module to render those entities better. I also don't think there is anything to do about the default view mode, since we are using the order that the entities themselves are defining them.

I'm going to close this issue since I don't think there is anything other actionable items here.
