Cloudflare Tunnel support

I think this could absolutely destroy any other options out there if it could automatically setup and provision Cloudflare Tunnels for each application. Then you wouldn't have to worry about opening any firewall ports, it just comes up and is available externally without any incoming network changes.

Thoughts?

100% agree 👍 Tunnel support has been on my list, but just didn't make it into the first release. I think it'd be especially nice for the use case of running a service from a spare machine in a closet, which can be very cost effective and fun thing to do. Also Cloudflare Tunnels are just really slick.

I've built something similar like once in the past weeks and used tailscale in order to only allow team members to access applications on our server and expose private tailscale ip via cloudflare - using cloudflare tunnels together with CF zero trust is a great alternative though 🤗

I'm trying to do exactly this and struggling to make it work, automated provisioning would be ideal. Maybe I'll take a try at it.

I was trying to setup an app in once through a cloudflare tunnel and it (for obvious reasons) didn't work, but I found a work around for this.

1. I first setup the tunnel in cloudflare and on my machine with cloudflared (the instructions for that are given when you setup the tunnel).
2. I installed the app in once as a local application (i.e. campfire.localhost)
3. Once the application is up and running I go to its settings in once and change the name to the name I wanted (as defined in the tunnel).
4. tada 🥳
