Issue description

I’m running Batocera on a Steam Deck, booted via USB stick while docked on a Steam Deck stand. ROMs and BIOS files are provided via a network mount. Video and audio output are over HDMI to a 4K display. Video and audio output resolution is set to auto.

I’m trying to get Sinden lightguns working and testing with Duck Hunt. Initially the lightgun was working, but the game window was very small. I changed emulator-specific resolution settings to try to fix that. After doing so, the lightgun now has severe lag even in the normal menus, and Duck Hunt crashes on startup.

I’m not sure which specific setting caused this, and I don’t know how to revert the emulator back to the previous working state.

Detailed reproduction steps

install on a usb steck via etcher
change steam deck bios to boot from usb stick per default
connect usb stick, screen, sinden light gun to steam dock and connect the steam deck to the dock
start steam deck
set rom and bios mounts to network share
set audio and video output to display
set Nintendo Entertainment System Resolution to 1920x1080
start Duck Hunt

Details of any modifications you have made to Batocera.
