Editor doesn't work in Codespaces

• v0.1.34 (last non-extension version) works, with some help (page pops up that requires user to click OK).
• v0.1.35 (first non-extension version) shows in Console "workbench.web.main.internal.js:547 Activating extension 'CodeChat.codechat-editor-client' failed: Cannot find native binding. npm has a bug related to optional dependencies ([BUG] Platform-specific optional dependencies not being included in package-lock.json when reinstalling with node_modules present npm/cli#4828). Please try npm i again after removing both package-lock.json and node_modules directory.." These instructions don't apply, since the extension is bundled, but obviously the load code doesn't work and needs some debug.

Debugging shows this error:

The GLIBC version in Codespaces is 2.31:

$ ldd --version
ldd (Debian GLIBC 2.31-13+deb11u13) 2.31

That's because Codepaces is running Ubuntu 22.04.1:

$ uname -a
Linux codespaces-eeb18a 6.8.0-1030-azure #35~22.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Mon May 26 18:08:30 UTC 2025 x86_64 GNU/Linux

However, the Github CI running is Ubuntu 22.04.5; from the CI logs:

Github actions doesn't offer older runners, per their docs.

Fixed in 5990b08 by updating the Codespace to use a new image:
