would it be within the scope/vision of codebook to (by default) look for per project and per user custom dictionaries intended for Harper?

is this something you'd script a PR for?

Use Case

I use codebook and harper, and I find Harper's user dictionary format (plain text, one word per line) a bit easier to manage than TOML so I tend to add words to Harper, but I'd love for codebook to use the same custom words

Hey! Yes, well, kind of. There are a few open issues for custom dictionaries in some way (#16). This would include paths to plain word lists like that. I'm still working on it though.

Can you give some more info on your use case? Where do you keep the lists? Do they need to be per-programming language or natural language (English, Spanish ect)?

I'm using the default harper locations: https://writewithharper.com/docs/integrations/language-server#User-Dictionary

in particular, $PROJECT_DIR/.harper-dictionary.txt

but, as that is configurable on the harper side, something more generic like $PROJECT_DIR/.dictionary.txt could also work

I tend to stick to en_US or en_GB or en_AU locales, but I was dabbling in Spanish for a while, I'm not sure how I'd want to cover multiple languages/dialects here 🤷
