How to Use

1. Extract the ZIP file.
2. Ensure Steam is running:
   • You must be logged into a Steam account that owns Rust.
   • The program uses Facepunch.Steamworks.Win32.dll and steam_api.dll to log in.
   • These files are bundled with the software. If needed, you can find the latest versions in your Rust installation folder.

3. Dealing with Windows Security warnings (if applicable):

   If Windows flags the .exe file as malicious, follow these steps to add an exception:

   1. Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & Threat Protection.
   2. Under Virus & Threat Protection Settings, select Manage Settings.
   3. Scroll down to Exclusions and select Add or Remove Exclusions.
   4. Click Add an exclusion and follow the prompts to exclude the program.
4. Running the Program:
   • Run Spray_Wallpaper_Creator.exe.
5. Create an Item:
   1. Enter a title for your item.
   2. Select wallpaper if you’re creating one.
   3. Enter a description.
   4. Adjust permissions as needed.
   5. Click Create Item. This will create a workshop item on Steam and generate a folder on your computer with the workshop ID.
6. Selecting and Compressing Images:
   • Select an image for your item.
   • If pngquant.exe is located in the same folder as Spray_Wallpaper_Creator and MSVC++2015 framework is installed, image compression will be enabled automatically.
   • The images will be resized and added to the workshop ID folder.
7. Upload to Steam Workshop:
   • You can manually edit the manifest or images before uploading if needed.
   • Click Upload to send the workshop ID folder to the Steam Workshop.
   • Once your item is uploaded or edited, simply close the program.
8. Editing an Existing Workshop Item:
   • To edit an existing item, ensure you have a folder with the corresponding workshop ID.
   • Click Edit and enter the workshop ID to make updates.

9. Important Note:

   When uploading edits, the changes won't take effect for users who have already downloaded the skin until Steam performs its next update check.
