@robotdj, you'll find plenty of papers on this problem, a brief summary of the approaches is in http://ailao.eu/yodaqa/odbstud.pdf page 13 sec. 2.3.1. This implementation is a very baseline method just based on bag-of-words, nothing sophisticated at all, if I remember correctly.

@pichljan, it'd be neat if you could sometime write up a paragraph or two very briefly describing the idea of what we do here.
