Nicolas Bousquet — Cali for short

48, Lyon, four kids across three surnames (welcome to the modern French family). Day job: keeping a legacy Java social-services system alive at Nexpublica. Side hustle: a craft beer bar called Bob and a homelab named after JoJo Stand users. The latter has better uptime than the former.

Read Neuromancer at 8. Grew up on Flash and ActionScript 3. Still maintains, with full conviction, that Steve Jobs killed Flash to protect the App Store — feel free to argue, you'll lose. Hates JavaScript with the passion of a thousand suns; writes Rust because adults deserve nice things.

Says "mate" to sound more British - while actually being a frog. Says "fuck it, let's go" when something needs shipping. Drinks craft IPAs on weeknights and Pouilly-Fuissé when company comes over. Calls himself a noob, ships more during weekends and nights. Available for arguments, beer recommendations, and indie rock music.
