We just moved our upstream repository to github for easier commits.
The cloud-init project is governed by a Contributor License Agreement: https://ubuntu.com/legal/contributors. If you have a launchpad account and can sign that agreement per our hacking guide then we can land the branch.
Once you have a launchpad account name, and have signed the CLA,
run the following:
tools/migrate-lp-to-github YOUR_LAUNCHPAD_NAME goforgold
