Can you keep the OS images a bit more up to date ?

Thanks for the awesome work, however, it is getting very outdated. For us focused on adding software, hacking the image is not necessary the easiest. Would you mind updating the images to a more recent kernel ?

I am alone to maintain these, so it's like single thread working
recently I mainly developing for PicoCalc, once I got a gap I will update uconsole os image,
right now I recommend to use Rex's os image, His image has latest kernel and other features
