Documenting developer outcomes, open-source contributions, and community growth.


About

This repository contains the official Impact Report for Code Orange Dev School — Asia's Bitcoin Developer Pipeline. We publish impact reports to provide transparent, measurable evidence of our contribution to the Bitcoin open-source ecosystem.

This report is intended for grant reviewers at OpenSats, Human Rights Foundation, Btrust, and the broader Bitcoin community.

Current Report

What's Inside

The report documents:

  • Developer Outcomes: 26+ developers trained across all cohorts, with per-cohort breakdowns (Mastering Bitcoin, Decoding Bitcoin, Bitcoin Dojo, Sovereign Bitcoiner)
  • Open-Source Contributions: Every merged/approved PR from our community — 7 active contributors with merged PRs across 12+ Bitcoin projects including Bitcoin Core, rust-bitcoin, BDK, rust-payjoin, peer-observer, and LDK
  • Graduate Pipeline: Where graduates are now, what projects they contribute to, pathways to Chaincode Labs, base58, and Btrust fellowships
  • Workshop Reach: 7+ workshop topics, biweekly at Bitcoin House Bali, delivered in 6 languages
  • Community Growth: 8 countries represented, part of the Bitcoin Indonesia ecosystem (~55,000 Bitcoiners, 40+ monthly meetups)
  • Press & Recognition: Bitcoin Magazine, Fedi Community Spotlight, Blink.sv, Bitcoin Asia 2026 speaker
