✨ Iconic Spots in Bern – Map Ideas ✨

🐻 Bear Pit (Bärengraben)
An iconic Bern landmark. A must-see for locals and visitors alike.

⛪ Münster Platform
Beautiful views over the river and old town. Perfect photo spot.

🌊 Aare River
The river could flow through the map.

Marzili 🏊‍♂️ – Riverside chill area.

Eichholz → Marzili swim route 🚶‍♀️💦 – Jump in at Eichholz, float to Marzili.

🏛 Parliament Building
Could represent the “Meeting Space” in the map — a place to work together, discuss ideas, and collaborate.

🚉 Central Station
Acts as a “Welcome Hub.”

☕ Could be a Starbucks-style meetup point.

📚 Could also be a Library, where Paola is often found, ready to answer questions.

🏠 Staying in Bern
A space on the map where people can simply be together physically, or use as a starting point before heading out to explore.

💡 The idea: Each location has a little info bubble explaining what it is, and how it connects to our community activities.

The original script:

Iconic buildings in Bern, sounds good. Yeah, something, I don't know, people in Bern would be used to, or like even like people from other places, you know, in the world. You know, something to do with Bern itself. Okay, so we could have the Bear Pit, we can have the Minster platform, we can have the... The river going through the map. The river going through the map, that's a really good one. We could have the Parliament, and then in each one of these places, we can have a little bit of a explanation of what these places are. And maybe the river, we could have like a place to chill. Yeah, like a place to chill at the riverside. Marzili is the name, or Eichholz, and we can say in Eichholz, you can jump into the river and get out in Marzili. A fun activity that you could do in Bern. And then we could have also staying in Bern, as in the place where you can come and just be with people physically, but also in the map. And then you could go walk around, and if you're going to Marzili, then you're hanging out with people. But if you're going to connect Bern, then you're not hanging out with people anymore. You're working together with them on something, maybe. Like a workplace. The Parliament building could have like meetings. Meetings, yeah. Yeah, that could be where the meeting space is. You know how in that map, it should have connected you to the meeting room. Sounds good. And then you go to the Parliament to have your meetings. Cool. And then you have the Central Station, maybe. And the Central Station could be the Starbucks, which is our place where people go to meet. And that would be the place where they go to ask questions. Or like library, because Paola uses the library quite a bit. So you could go in the library. To ask Paola, because she's working in the library. Yeah. That's clever, yeah.

So basically we can have like all the kitchen and the all the kitchen and the bathroom and the living room mapped. When you go to each one of these places then you get like a website to open up and maybe even you're blocked until you answer the quiz or until you read the website at least once and click on a button on the website or something like that but that's maybe too advanced. So yeah and then the place it would be called Connect Burn but there would be a place called Staying in Burn and in Staying in Burn there would be more like well two parts there would be the part of the explanation about all of like the how to use how to use stuff as a volunteer and then also like a place for the people who want to just come and meet people and that would be like during the day and during the night maybe we can have a feature that during the day it looks like this and during the night it looks like that and yeah.
