Instead of sharing the folder, use Lively .zip which is designed for sharing. (right click wallapper -> Export Lively .zip)
When a file instead of .zip is added to lively as wallpaper only a reference to its filepath is stored and the wallpaper is not extracted to lively folder; this can cause issues with LivelyProperties which is meant to be used with installed wallpapers.
